It’s one of the most known varieties. It has a ball like shape very similar to a cabbage’s shape. The Iceberg Lettuce has large, rounded, thin and crunchy leaves. It’s ideal to serve chopped as a garrison or in cocktails. It was named “iceberg” due to it’s resistance to very low temperatures.
